This project focuses on transforming the Uncle Sims Cash Advance Services loan application system into a database-driven information management system. The system is designed to improve the storage, organization, retrieval, and management of client and loan records. Unlike the previous front-end version that relied on browser Local Storage, the new system uses a relational database for structured data management. The database stores information about clients, loan applications, loan decisions, repayments, and administrators. Primary and foreign keys establish relationships between related records and maintain data integrity. The system supports adding, viewing, updating, deleting, and searching records. It improves loan processing and reduces challenges associated with manual record keeping. The project demonstrates the practical application of database concepts in solving a real-world business problem and provides a foundation for a secure and scalable loan management system.
