Project Abstract

TITLE
Online Election Polling Platform

ABSTRACT
Elections are used in many organizations and institutions to choose leaders or make important decisions. In many cases, the traditional voting process requires people to be present at a polling station in order to cast their votes. This can make the process slow and sometimes inconvenient for voters because of long queues, limited polling locations, and time restrictions.
The aim of this project is to design an online election polling system that allows users to vote using a website from the comfort of their homes. The system is intended to make the polling process faster and more convenient while also reducing the time needed to collect and count votes. With the use of an online platform, voters will be able to access the system, view the available candidates, and cast their votes easily.
The system will be developed using basic web technologies such as HTML to structure the web pages, CSS together with Bootstrap to improve the appearance and responsiveness of the website, and JavaScript to handle the main functions of the system. These technologies will help in creating a simple and easytouse voting platform.
The final outcome of this project is expected to be a functional online polling website that demonstrates how web technologies can help improve the efficiency and accessibility of the voting process.
