ABSTRACT

The School Management System is a web-based application developed using PHP and SQL to improve the management of school activities and records. The system is designed to replace traditional paper-based methods of storing and managing information with a computerized database system.

The system provides different functionalities for managing students, teachers, classes, subjects, attendance, academic results, and school fees. An administrator can manage users and school records, teachers can record attendance and students� results, while accountants can manage school fee payments. Students can also access relevant information such as their results, attendance, and payment records according to their assigned permissions.

PHP is used to develop the server-side functionality and process requests from users, while SQL and a MySQL database are used to store, retrieve, update, and manage school information.
