WASH Watch

Water supply and sanitation are essential for healthy and sustainable communities. However, towns across Zambia face challenges such as water leakages,pipe bursts , sewer blockages, overflows and poor drainage. This project proposes a Smart Water and Sanitation Reporting and Monitoring System, a static interactive website developed using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The website will demonstrate how residents can report water and sanitation problems by submitting descriptions, photographs and locations. JavaScript will provide interactive features such as reporting forms, alerts, maps, charts and report-status displays. Using sample data, the project will simulate how service providers can monitor and manage reported problems. The project demonstrates how basic web technologies can support improved communication, public awareness and management of water and sanitation challenges in Zambian towns
