Project Abstract

Farmbridge is a web based project designed to connect farmland owners with individuals seeking for land to rent for agricultural use. The website will all farm owners to publish listing detailing, location, size, rental prices, and crop suitability, while prospective renters can search, filter, and submit booking requests directly to owners. Once a request is submitted, both parties again access to each other's contact details enabling direct communication and negotiation outside the website. The website will be structured as follows;the first, Browser form, presents all published lists in a searchable and sortable format, allowing users to filter results by location and order them by price. Each listing displays essential details such as farm's location, size, rental prices, suitable crops or land use, a written discretion and the owners contact information, giving renters enough information to judge suitability before making contact. The second area, List your farm, provides farm owners with a simple form through which they can submit a new listing entering their name, phone number, and the relevant details about their land. Mostly the My Activity area, allowing any user whether acting as s owner or a renter to view a summary of their own engagement with the website, including farms they have listed, booking requests they have made, using ther phone number as a simple identifying reference. This will be done using HTML for page structure and constant, CSS for visual styling and layout, and JavaScript for interactivity, form handling and dynamic rendering of listings. These approach will keep the website simple, low-cost and quick to build.
