Project Abstract

This project presents the design and implementation of a web-based School Learning Management System . Built using a full-stack architecturePHP and MySQL for backend data processing, alongside HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for the responsive user interface-the platform modernizes academic operations. Traditional manual tracking often leads to data redundancy, delayed grading cycles, and communication bottlenecks. This solution resolves these operational challenges through a centralized relational database normalized to 'Third Normal Form' (3NF). The system implements Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for Administrators, Teachers, and Students. Core functionalities include user provisioning, course enrollment, digital assignment submissions, automated grade calculation, and institutional announcements. Security is strictly enforced via PHP Data Objects with parameterized queries, bcrypt password hashing, and session protection, resulting in an efficient and reliable academic environment.
