Invesmu Motors & Electronics is an online business that purchases and resells quality vehicles and electronics, including cars, smartphones, and laptops. It also provides customs clearance, vehicle delivery, RTSA registration, and Interpol registration services. As the business grows, manually managing customer, product, sales, payment, vehicle, and registration records may cause duplication, data loss, errors, and delays.
The main objective is to develop a Database Management System (DBMS) that stores, organizes, manages, and retrieves business information efficiently. The methodology will involve requirements gathering, database design, table and relationship creation, data entry, testing, and implementation. MySQL will store and manage the database, while SQL will be used to create tables, insert, update, delete, and retrieve data. XAMPP will provide the local server environment and run MySQL, while PHP will connect the website to the database and process user requests and data. The system is expected to improve accuracy, reduce errors, simplify information retrieval, support decision-making, and improve customer service.
