Project Abstract

VicοΏ½s Grill House uses a relational database to store restaurant information. Data is organized into tables such as Employees, Users, Tills, Tables, Orders, Order Items, and Payments. Primary keys uniquely identify records, while foreign keys establish relationships. Data management involves creating, updating, retrieving, and deleting records by authorized users. Managers can add employees, assign Till IDs and roles, manage till access, and reset credentials. Staff can create and update orders, while the system retrieves order details and calculates bills automatically. Data integrity rules reduce duplication, errors, and inconsistencies. Authentication and role-based access control protect information by restricting users to authorized functions. Transaction records provide accountability and support retrieval of historical data. Overall, the database provides a secure and efficient way to manage restaurant data, supporting accurate transactions, fast retrieval, and decisions.
