Project Abstract

CAMPUS EVENT MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION SYSTEM

The Campus Event Management and Information System is a front-end web-based project designed to provide students with an easy and convenient way of viewing information about events taking place on campus. The system will display upcoming academic, social, sporting, club, and other student-related events in an organized and attractive manner.

The main purpose of the project is to improve access to campus event information and reduce the difficulties students may face when searching for information about events. The website will provide pages where students can view upcoming events, event details, dates, venues, organizers, and contact information.

The system will be designed using HTML and CSS. HTML will be used to create the structure and content of the website, while CSS will be used to design the layout, colours, navigation menu, cards, buttons, and responsive interface. The project will be a front-end prototype, meaning that it will not require a database or server-side programming.

The proposed system will contain pages such as Home, Events, About Us, Services, and Contact Us. The Home page will introduce the system and highlight upcoming events, while the Events page will display event cards containing important event information. The Contact page will provide basic contact information for students who need further assistance.

The expected outcome of the project is a simple, modern, and user-friendly website that demonstrates how web technologies can be used to improve the communication and sharing of information within an educational institution.
