AbstractIn the modern digital landscape, streamlining the onboarding process is critical for user retention and operational efficiency. This project presents the design and development of digital account opening, a secure multi-step web application engineered to optimize user registration and document validation.The application utilizes a four-stage wizard interface to simplify complex data collection, minimizing user fatigue while ensuring compliance with standard verification protocols. Users can select their preferred account type (Savings, Checking, or Business), establish secure login credentials, and input essential personal data. Furthermore, the platform integrates a robust document upload system to collect verification materials, specially accommodating proof of residence and professional or religious recommendation letters. Upon submission, data is queued for administrator review, triggering automated SMS or email notifications to keep application applicants informed of their status. Ultimately, this project delivers a scalable, highly intuitive and user-centric solution that bridges the gap between manual document processing and seamless digital onboarding.
