This project introduces the development of an automated and interactive fashion and style curation platform which is designed to assist users by generating and suggesting tailored combinations based on particular occasions.
Curated elegance is an interactive web-based fashion, makeup and styling inspiration platform designed to help users with exploring suitable and coordinated looks for a variety of occasions. The concept is based on the idea of carefully selecting and presenting fashion and style in a structured digital environment. Rather than showing users random collection of unrelated images and suggestions, the website will organize content according to specific settings. This arrangement will help users find styles that are catered to their personal style and intended occasion.
The main objective of curated elegance is to develop an interactive and accessible website that will provide fashion and beauty inspiration while allowing users to make choices based on their personal preferences. The project will show how interactive web technologies can be used in a practical lifestyle setting. The website will incorporate the use of HTML elements like nav, section and class to arrange its content in different categories or classes based on everyday life situations such as work and business, which will provide inspiration for professional and workplace environments, on polished and appropriate attire. The socializing or party category will feature ideas for casual and party-based events like, dinner, lunch, and gatherings with friends. The main other category will be the Events section which will help with curating suitable looks for events like black tie parties, awards, weddings and other celebrations. This system will allow users to choose a relevant setting and browse a focused collection without having to browse the entire page.
The development of this project will provide an opportunity to demonstrate and apply the concepts learnt in interactive web development, that is, HTML.CSS and Javascript.HTML will be used to create the structure of the website such as the navigation bar, headings, sections, images, links, forms and content cards.CSS will be used to improve the overall visual identity and layout, including image presentation, spacing, typography and transitions. It will be vital in creating a visually appealing and captivating appearance as is an important aspect of the website because fashion, beauty and style are strongly influenced by presentation website. JavaScript will be used selectively to provide client-side interaction.
Overall, the development of this project will bring together organized styling content and practical interactive features on a single platform and this will be achieved by combining occasion-based categories, galleries and a visually appealing interface thereby showcasing the practical application of HTML, CSS and JavaScript all while addressing the need for accessible fashion and styling inspiration.
