Project Abstract

The Restaurant Menu and Ordering Website is a web-based system designed to provide customers with a simple, convenient, and user-friendly way of viewing restaurant meals and placing orders online. Traditional restaurant ordering methods, such as physical menus and manual order taking, can be time-consuming and may make it difficult for customers to quickly access information about available meals and their prices. This project aims to develop a digital restaurant menu and ordering website that improves the ordering experience and makes restaurant services more convenient.

The main objective of the project is to design and develop a responsive website that allows customers to browse different food categories, view meals and their prices, select food items, add them to a shopping cart, and automatically calculate the total cost of their order. The website will also include a WhatsApp ordering button, which will allow customers to send their selected orders directly to the restaurant through WhatsApp.

The system will be developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML will be used to structure the website, CSS will be used to design the interface and ensure that it is responsive on different devices, while JavaScript will provide interactive features such as adding and removing items from the cart, updating quantities, and calculating the total price. The system will not require a database because menu information and prices will be stored within the website.

The expected outcome is a functional, attractive, and easy-to-use restaurant ordering website that improves customer convenience and reduces the challenges associated with manual ordering.
