BookHub Web Based Library Management System

BookHub is a web-based Library Management System designed to automate cataloging, borrowing workflows, and record-keeping in academic libraries. Developed with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, it replaces manual paper registers with a centralized, efficient web interface. Key features include relational cataloging, structured member registration, and automated borrowing and return workflows. MySQL database triggers automatically adjust book availability in real time when loans are issued or returned. Additionally, BookHub provides dynamic overdue monitoring that calculates daily late fines automatically. Security and role segregation are enforced through PHP Session authentication and Role-Based Access Control, restricting loan execution and inventory updates to librarians while enabling students to browse available titles seamlessly. Overall, BookHub streamlines operations, improves accountability, & minimizes overhead. The system is very scalable, secure, and user-friendly daily.
