Project Abstract
ArtArena is an online art bidding platform where artists can showcase their work and collectors can bid to buy it.
Admins upload artworks with details like title, image, description, and artist bio. Users must register and log in to participate. Once logged in, they can browse the gallery, view artwork details, place bids, and track their bidding history and won items from their dashboard.
Each artwork has a set bidding timeframe. During that time, users can place bids. When time ends, the system automatically closes bidding and awards the artwork to the highest bidder.
It will be built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for the frontend and PHP & SQL for the backend, with features for secure login, admin/user dashboards, timed bidding, and secure payment.
