Project Abstract
FarmPlan is a static web application that helps small-scale farmers prepare crop budgets before planting. Users enter the crop, season, area, expected yield, selling price and itemised costs for the whole plan. It calculates harvest, sales, costs with a contingency reserve, funding gaps, budget surplus, and break even price and yield. Adjustable yield and price scenarios show how changing assumptions affects the surplus while costs stay fixed. HTML5 and CSS3 provide a responsive interface, while JavaScript validates inputs and performs calculations. Plans are saved only in the browser, with JSON backup and restore, CSV export and printable reports. No backend or database is used. Testing covers known calculations, invalid values, zero yield or price, storage failures and responsive layouts. The intended outcome is a practical tool that makes crop costs and planning assumptions clear.

This appears to be a backend/database project, but IWD requires static websites only.
