Urban Kitz

The Urban Kitz platform is an online retail system designed to provide customers with a secure and seamless fashion shopping experience in the Zambian market. The system provides users with access to diverse clothing catalogs, including male, female, shoes, new, and thrift items, alongside transparent, zone-based delivery processing. Built with a PHP and MySQL back-end architecture, the database securely stores and manages information about product inventories, user accounts, customer orders, and provincial delivery tariffs. Customers can filter products, add items to a dynamic shopping cart, and view calculated delivery costs, while administrators manage inventory levels, update pricing, and process incoming transactions. By utilizing structured SQL queries and server-side business logic, the system ensures data persistence, prevents client-side price tampering, and provides a reliable online storefront tailored to local retail needs.
