Project Abstract
The Woodlands Library Management System is a web-based application that streamlines the management of library resources and makes them easier for students to access. Students can search for books, view book details, submit borrowing requests, track their borrowing history, and manage their profiles. Administrators use a dedicated dashboard to manage books, authors, categories, students, borrowing requests, and returned books. The system is built with PHP and MySQL for application processing and database management, while HTML, CSS, and JavaScript provide a responsive, user-friendly interface. Authentication and role-based access control ensure that students and administrators can only use the features appropriate to their roles. Overall, the project aims to reduce manual library processes, improve record accuracy, simplify administration, save staff time, and give students convenient access to library services at any time, supporting a more organized and efficient library environment.
