Title: CustomSole: An Interactive Web Platform for Customized Shoe Ordering
Abstract:
Many customers find it difficult to get shoes in their preferred style, color, and size, while local shoe makers struggle to reach more buyers. This project proposes CustomSole, an interactive web platform that connects customers with shoe makers for customized shoe orders.
Customers can browse shoe types, select color and size, place orders online, make payments via bank or mobile money, and leave reviews and ratings. Shoe makers will be able to update production status, notify customers when orders are ready, and respond to feedback.
The system will be developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. CustomSole aims to improve customer convenience, build trust through reviews, and expand market opportunities for local shoe makers in Zambia, while promoting e-commerce.
