Employee Management System (EMS)

The proposed Employee Management System (EMS) is a web-based database application designed to improve the management, storage, retrieval, and maintenance of employee information. The system will address challenges associated with manual records, including duplication, inaccuracies, inefficient retrieval, and difficulties in updating information. It will enable authorized users to add, view, search, update, and manage employee records, including personal details, departments, positions, and employment information. A relational database will be designed using DBMS principles such as normalization, primary and foreign keys, relationships, and data integrity constraints. The project will involve requirements analysis, database design, development, and testing. The expected outcome is a centralized solution that improves the accuracy, organization, consistency, and accessibility of employee information while demonstrating the practical application of database management concepts.
