Project Abstract

The Student Assignment Manager is a mobile application designed to help students effectively organize, monitor, and manage their academic assignments and deadlines. Students often handle multiple assignments across different courses, making it difficult to keep track of submission dates, assignment status, and priorities. The proposed application addresses this challenge by providing a centralized mobile platform where students can create, view, update, and delete assignment records. The application will allow users to register and log in, add assignment details such as course, description, due date, priority, and completion status, and monitor upcoming and overdue assignments. It will also provide a dashboard displaying assignment progress and support deadline reminders to help students manage their academic responsibilities. The system will be developed using Android Studio with Java and XML for the user interface, while SQLite will be used for local data storage. The project aims to provide a simple, accessible, and user-friendly tool that improves assignment organization and helps students reduce missed deadlines through effective digital task management.
